We decided to go to our local farmer's market here in Rexburg today. While we were there, we stumbled upon this gem! How cute is this outfit?! We thought it was the perfect Saturday afternoon, stroll around town kind of outfit. We love the simplicity of this. Not every outfit has to be decked out with layers, patterns, and colors... Here is the perfect example! Simple and stylish!

Layered Lace

Happy (FINALLY) Friday!! This outfit is perfect clash of classy and casual. The layered tops bring out not only the fancy and simple side from the lace, but also the perfect balance of color with just a peek of the pink. Classy Sass

I love this outfit because it's super girly and classic! It's perfect for a special event or going to church! The scalloped black and white collar adds the perfect amount of detail that turn this basic white button-up into a fun, girly shirt that is essential to every wardrobe! I also love the pop of color that this dark-turquoise skirt adds, it's the perfect color for fall!

Thinking Floral

Okay so this outfit definitely pushed me out of my comfort zone a little... but I'm seriously so in love with it! First the pattern mixing is a MUST! The floral skirt and striped shirt are not a very usual pick, but together they are so perfect. Second the mustard cardigan. I'M IN LOVE! The detail, the color, the length, everything about it. Has to be my favorite color for fall!! My favorite thing about this outfit is the comfort factor. So perfect for a lazy day or even a nice occasion! Thanks for reading... Marching Into Fall

Hey guys! I'm sure you're all wondering why my first post is happening just now... Well all summer I was away from internet connection on exotic vacations, while my two roommates were stuck at home posting on the blog. BUT we are all back in the swing of things and I am finally posting(and quite excited about my first post). As you all know, fall is DEFINITELY pushing its way in and I couldn't be more excited. This outfit is the perfect "almost fall" look. Hence the title! The combat boots are such a hot item this fall and the neutrals with the perfect light pop of color in the statement necklace just jump out and SCREAM fall. It's not a hard combo to put together and can be perfect for any occasion.

We Are Back!

For the past week we have been moving in to our new apartment, starting classes, trying to get organized, unpacking everything, starting back at work, and enjoying FINALLY being reunited. We promise this whole week of no posting thing won't happen again. So we will start out by saying we are soo soo soo soo happy to be back together again. As we may have said, we are now posting from Rexburg, Idaho. This is where we attend Brigham Young University-Idaho. So we thought of this super fun idea... Every weekend we are going to go roam the small town of Rexburg and find outfits that we love and that inspire us. This will just give everyone a little taste of styles we would choose, just by mixing it up and seeing them on other people. Here's our first pick! We picked this outfit because of the perfect pop of color. She color blocked well and added the perfect touch of beautiful jewelry. Let us know what you think...

FALL{ing} in Love

As the days get shorter and the air is getting cooler, it reminds me that fall is almost here! And not just fall, but fall fashion... (my fave). This means sweaters, scarves, boots and... well, more sweaters.
Because keeping up with every trend every season can get expensive, and (lets be honest) pretty overwhelming, I usually pick a few trends that I want to incorporate into my wardrobe for the upcoming season. Now, keeping your wardrobe on-point for fall can keep both your closet and bank account happy!

Here are some of my picks for Fall 2012:

Peplum- it adds the perfect amount of girly detail to any outfit.

Loafers- classy with a hint of casual. and totally comfy.

Burgandy (bordeaux, oxblood red)- this deep fall neutral is popping up everywhere, and I'm kinda obsessed

Printed Pants- they were hot in the spring, and I'm totally a fan of them carrying over into fall. (maybe this season I'll be brave enough to actually wear mine)

 

Satchels- these structured little bags have been catching my eye for quite some time now... I just havent found one I'm in love with yet.

Neon Sherbet

Let me start out by saying... if you knew me a year ago you would NEVER see me wearing this. My lovely roommates can attest to the fact that my closet contained black, gray, and more black. I was too scared to jump out of my "fashion comfort zone" as Annie talked about. My thought process while shopping used to be something like this... I can't buy this because I don't have anything to match that color, but this cute black top goes with anything. SOLD! Now don't get me wrong, I'm still a sucker for a cute black top, but it was definitely time to spice it up and add a little color to my life. You could say I'm a totally different person, but I like to just say if it works, why not? Yes this outfit is very bold, but who doesn't love to walk into a room and be noticed? Since summer is coming to an end, I decided to get one more fun outfit in. Time to jump out of that "fashion comfort zone!" Oh and Happy Labor Day!
